Where to watch AFCON 2027
Rights to the 2027 edition are almost entirely unsold. This page tracks which broadcasters are actually confirmed and which are simply assumed to carry it again.
Why almost nothing is confirmed
Three things expired at once. The agency mandate covering international rights ended with the previous edition and no successor has been named. The master agreement for Sub-Saharan Africa ran to 2025 and lapsed. And the tender CAF opened in July 2026 covers the 2028, 2032 and 2036 editions — 2027 is not in it.
A second shift matters just as much: Canal+ completed its takeover of MultiChoice in July 2026, which puts SuperSport and Canal+ Afrique inside one group and leaves a single buyer facing both English- and French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa. Whatever the 2027 map turns out to be, it will not simply repeat the last one.
A list you will see elsewhere, and why we do not repeat it
CAF published a list of broadcast partners around the qualifying draw in May 2026. Many sites reprint it as the country-by-country broadcaster list for the tournament. It is not that: it names the partners who carried the draw ceremony, with no territories attached and no match rights implied. Where our data comes from the previous edition, each row says so.
